I’ve probably talked about my weekly painting outings to Leo Carrillo’s ranch in Carlsbad. Ever since May 2020 a few of us have been painting at the ranch at least once a week. Going to Leo ‘s ( as we refer to it in our texts) has been a life saver for our mental health during the Pandemic. We got to sit in a beautiful spot ( socially distanced) and paint the old California style ranch buildings as the terrain. Plus we got to talk about everything, from painting to partner problems.

i plan to continue to paint at the ranch weekly. I will not get tired of the scenery or the conversation or the nice docents and gardeners who work hard to keep the ranch in ship shape.
