September 19-26, 2024, Explore Vienna
Together, we will explore Vienna, Austria, a city filled with museums, palaces, gardens, cafes, fountains, a renowned Opera House, the home of Mozart, architectural wonders and loads of hidden gems.
Your trip will begin on the morning of September 19th with a guided walking tour of Vienna to give us an orientation to the city and end with a welcome dinner that evening. Your home for the week will be a 4 Star hotel in the city center. You will be able to watercolor sketch everyday with art lessons tailored to your level (from absolute beginner to advanced). Non-painting friends who accompany you will find plenty of things to do while you are painting. We will sample the local food including a dessert called a Sacher Torte.
September 26-29, 2024, Explore Salzburg
Your stay in Salzburg will begin with a guided walking tour of the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for it’s unique architecture and cultural monuments. Palaces, a castle, museums, and a hilltop fortress overlooking the city are just some of what Salzburg has to explore. Our home in Salzburg is a four star hotel just a two minute walk from Mirabel Palace and Gardens. We’ll watercolor sketch every day with instruction tailored to your specific level and needs. Perhaps you’ll want to sample a delicious apple strudel?
Price for the 7 night Vienna workshop is $3371 for a shared room (please inquire if interested in a single room). The price includes a welcome dinner, lodging, all breakfasts, daily art instruction, & two day-trips into the beautiful surrounding countryside & villages.
Price for the 3 night Salzburg workshop is $1290 for a shared room (single available). There is a $100 discount for those attending both workshops. The price includes a shared room in a four-star hotel, all breakfasts, a guided walking tour of Salzburg’s historic centre, daily art instruction and transportation from Vienna to Salzburg.
The total price for both workshops, after the $100 discount is $4561.
