Early on a teacher advised me that I would create better paintings if I painted in a series rather making single paintings. Ocassionally, I do paint 3 paintings with a common theme. Usually, this method takes the pressure off thinking you need to do one perfect painting and that you won’t have a 2nd chance to get your painting right.
